Current Payment Schedule
We are having to return an extraordinary number of fee applications for (1) missing attorney or Judges signatures; (2) missing case information; (3) wrong rates, particularly fee applications using the new rates for dispositions prior to Jan 1. Please check your fee application for these errors before submission.
IRS Form #1099s were mailed on January 25th. If you did not receive one, contact Aaron.M.Gallagher@nccourts.org.
At present, IDS staff cannot research the status of individual payments unless more than 45 days have passed since the fee application was submitted to the judge.
IDS processes fee applications in the order in which they are received, usually within two or three weeks of receipt by our Financial Services Office, depending on volume. We recognize there is often a several week delay between the disposition of a case and receipt of the fee application by IDS Financial Services. Unfortunately, staff cannot expedite payment on individual fee applications.
Who can I contact if 45 days have passed and I haven’t been paid?
Please contact the IDS Financial Services staffer assigned to your county. Please have the case name, case number, disposition date, the date submitted to the judge, and your tax identification number on hand when you call. If you have several cases to research, email is best.
