Registration is now open for the Bridging the Gap X Mitigation Conference.
The Seminar will be a live in person conference in Raleigh at the AOC Building in Raleigh. (901 Corporate Center Drive)
The dates are December 8-10, 2026.
Link to: State v. Jonathan Wilson.
Assume you have just been assigned to the case as attorney, mitigation specialist, fact investigator, forensics expert, or mental health expert. We will walk through the case from first meeting the client and family, identifying legal issues, identifying mitigation issues, putting together a team, putting together the mitigation story, putting on a sentence hearing, and the closing argument giving reasons for a life verdict.
Please read the Jonathan Wilson case. Bad facts. The state will not offer any deals and is preparing for a capital trial. This seminar will show you how to approach such a case, how to prepare such a case, and how to present your mitigation story to the jury.
We will begin December 8 at 12:30 pm. This gives you time to travel to Raleigh that morning.
We will end December 10 at 12:30 pm. This gives you time to travel home.
