IDS Welcomes Kevin Boxberger as New Regional Defender

Kevin Boxberger

IDS is pleased to announce that Kevin Boxberger is our newest Regional Defender. Kevin most recently was an IDS contracting attorney in Wake County. He is a graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law.

A native of Indiana, Kevin enlisted in the United States Air Force right out of high school and served for nearly seven years. While in the Air Force, Kevin obtained two college degrees and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant and served a tour in Iraq prior to completing his military commitment. After Kevin’s military career, he was a Raleigh firefighter for three years prior to attending law school.

​In his nearly 10-year career as an attorney, Kevin has practiced adult criminal, juvenile and traffic law. He has litigated cases ranging from traffic to murder. As a private attorney, Kevin was dedicated to defending poor people accused of crimes. As a Regional Defender, he will continue to follow his passion as he supports the IDS contracting attorneys.

Kevin will cover the following counites: Greene, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Lenoir, Pitt, Wake and Wayne.

Tucker is back to Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Orange, Person, Vance and Warren.

Kevin will start November 28. He and Tucker will traveling to each of his counties in the next few weeks.
